As a Professional (candidate) registers on the People in Science website, People in Science explicitly asks to store the data in the database for 1 year. After that year, permission will be renewed every year. If the person in question requests to delete the data, People in Science will do this within 1 month.

The professional has the possibility to view his file on request.

The data are only used to find a job for the professional and to keep him informed of the latest developments in the field of work and job applications by a newsletter.

Which data is stored?

The CV.
Preferences given in terms of branches, functions, area and other preferences.
The personal profile that has been made in response to an intake.
Matches with vacancies and reasons for rejection by the client or professional.
Data of successful matches.
Results of requesting references.
What is the purpose of preserving the data?

People in Science saves these data to make a good match with a vacancy. We keep this information as long as the professional allows this in the database, so that People in Science can approach the professional as soon as a suitable vacancy appears.

The data is stored in a cloud database which is managed and secured by the company Carerix.

People in Science will never make data available to third parties without the consent of professionals

People in Science stores data from its clients.

People in Science will request permission each year. If the company requests the data to be removed, People in Science will comply with this within 1 month.

Data that is stored are:

Information as communicated on the website of a company.
Names, telephone numbers and if applicable, the birthday of contacts.
Possible days on which the contact person can be contacted.
Conversation reports.
Vacancies.
Matches and (reasons for) rejections.
What is the purpose of preserving the data?

People in Science saves these data to make a good match with a vacancy. We keep this information as long as the customer allows it in the database, so that People in Science can quickly serve the client as soon as a new vacancy is registered.

The customer has, on request, the possibility to view his data in the database.

The data is stored in a cloud database which is managed and secured by the company Carerix.

People in Science will never make data available to third parties without the consent of the customer.

Only the employees of People in Science, its accountant and the competent government bodies (such as the tax authorities) have access to the data in the People in Science database.

Complaints about privacy can be reported to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
